Live edge walnut cheese board

This is a beautiful cheese board/serving tray made from walnut. I kept the live edge on this piece, but cleaned it up to give it a great look. The edge makes this whole piece special in my opinion. The bark has been sanded to a smooth finish and then sealed with multiple coatings of butcher block finish. The many colors that came through on it once I applied the finish made it one of my favorites.

The board is approximately 9″ x 8.5″. It stands at just 2 1/4″ tall, giving it just enough height to get it off the counter or table.

The board was made with all FDA approved glues and finish, and is completely food safe. It should be wiped down with a damp cloth after use, and should never be soaked or placed in a dishwasher.
