La Colombe Display Trays

La Colombe Coffee Roasters reached out to me when looking for custom display trays for their line of canned Draft Latte.  While deciding on a design for the trays, I had to look no further than their logo for inspiration.  I took the ‘O’ from their logo and split it in half which became the final shape for the trays.

Each tray is hand made from solid walnut lumber.  Any cracks or defects in the wood were filled with a ground coffee/epoxy mixture, which added a bit of contrast to the trays instead of trying to mask them.
